While investigations are still on, many explanations for the mysterious death of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer are being bandied about.
According to a report in The Mirror, the police are checking out the possibility of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol. Woolmer was also a patient of diabetes.
Bob Woolmer's wife has been quoted as saying that Woolmer was very stressed as the coach of the Pakistan cricket team. Bob Woolmer's son Russell Woolmer has maintained that his father was under huge stress and doctors believe that Woolmer's death may have caused by stress or a heart attack.
Meanwhile, Pakistani politician and erstwhile cricket team captain Imran Khan squarely blames the performance of the Pakistan team for Woolmer's death. Khan who has never been known to mince his words was quoted by DNA (Daily News & Analysis) as saying that Bob Woolmer was not responsible for Pakistan's loss whatever the general public in Pakistan may say.
